D&D Campaign Manager & Planner

Your entire D&D campaign, organised and ready for anything

Every action has a consequence, but keeping track of them shouldn't be a full time job.

Stories branch, players deviate and you, our dear DM, will have to improvise.
Dungeon Weave is the D&D campaign manager designed for the table.

A D&D campaign manager that thinks in storylines, not folders

Most campaign tools are filing cabinets. Folders, wikis, tags. Lovely for storing lore but not ideal when your players take a detour on Friday night. Your story forks every single time your players make a decision.

Dungeon Weave organises your campaign into story nodes: Connected, branching storylines that follow your party's choices. The cult is recruiting in the docks. If the party infiltrates, one thread opens. If they torch the warehouse instead, a different one does. Every action has a consequence, and the weave tracks which path your table actually took.

Your notes stop being an archive you dig through. They become a map to lead the way.

Everything a DM juggles, in one D&D campaign organizer

Storylines are the backbone of your campaign. Everything else a D&D organizer should hold is weaved into them, so nothing lives in a lonely document ever again.

  • Encounters. Plot the fight and tie it to the storyline it belongs to. When initiative gets rolled, the details are already in front of you.
  • Homebrew monsters. Borrow from community content or brew your own custom horrors, statted and waiting for their moment.
  • Traps and obstacles. Decide what lies in wait before your rogue finds out the hard way.
  • Items and inventory. Track what your party has to use, and what they have to lose.
  • DM notes. Secrets, scribbles and session recaps, linked to the threads they actually matter to.
  • Party tracking. Who they have met, what they have done, which bridges they have burned. All of it in one place instead of scattered across your memory.

Built for the session, not just the prep

Here is where most prep tools quietly abandon you: It's 7pm on game night and your players have decided your small detour is the entire campaign now.

Dungeon Weave is built for that moment. Whichever direction the party wanders, the weave follows them down it. The storyline they chose comes forward with its encounters, monsters, traps and notes attached, and the consequences you planted are already sitting there, ready.

Which means you spend the session looking at your players, not scrolling through documents hunting for the paragraph you swear you wrote.

From messy notes to a living campaign in one evening

You do not need a whole weekend and a corkboard covered in string.

As a D&D campaign writing tool, it works in three steps:

  1. 1. Weave your story threads. Turn your ideas into story nodes: the branching paths your campaign might take, and what happens down each one.
  2. 2. Tie everything together. Attach your monsters, traps, items and notes to the threads where they belong, so the right prep surfaces at the right moment.
  3. 3. Run the session. Let the weave follow your party. Whichever thread they pull, you are already holding the other end.

One evening of setup. Then your prep compounds instead of piling up. (New to campaign building? Start with our guide on how to write a D&D campaign)

FAQ

Is Dungeon Weave free?

Yes, and usably so. The free plan includes 50 story nodes, 50 notes and a full party, which will comfortably kickstart your campaign. The paid plans exists if your dungeon needs more rooms, accomodating Casual DMs for regular games and Pro DMs weaving full-time.

Does it work for homebrew campaigns?

It was built for them. Nothing in Dungeon Weave assumes a published setting: your storylines, monsters, traps and items are all yours from scratch, or borrowed from community content when you would rather not reinvent the owlbear. If it exists in your head, it fits in the weave.

Can I use it alongside Roll20 or another virtual tabletop?

Yes. Dungeon Weave is not a virtual tabletop and is not trying to be one. Prep here, play there: plan your storylines, encounters and consequences in the weave, then run the session on whatever table you like, physical or virtual, with your campaign open beside you.

How is it different from World Anvil?

World Anvil is a worldbuilding wiki, and a genuinely deep one: if you want a lore archive spanning centuries of history, it is superb at that. Dungeon Weave is campaign-first, a dungeons and dragons organizer for what actually happens at the table. We care less about four hundred years ago and more about Friday night, and what branches off it. If you are building an encyclopaedia, go there; if you are building a story, that is us.
